Co-ordinated Universal Time Bill

Background

The Co-ordinated Universal Time Bill l [HL] was introduced in the House of Lords on 15th May 1997 by Lord Tanlaw. 

It effectively seeks to change the official UK time from GMT to UTC

First Reading

The Bill was introduced and had its First Reading in the House of Lords on Thursday 15 May 1997.

Second Reading

The Bill received its Second Reading in The House of Lords on House of Lords: Wednesday 11 June 1997.
